Gua Sha is a treatment which involves gently scraping a flat jade stone over the skin to promote tissue drainage and relax tense facial muscles.
Both the Gua Sha and Jade roller helps to stimulate circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage, skin toning as well as calming, de-puffing and soothing the skin.
Regular use can help to relieve tension and contribute towards self-care.

Using a generous amount of Golden Oil® on the face, neck, and chest will help the tool glide more easily whilst aiding absorption.
Using the roller and a matching gua sha to massage the face helps reduce fluid build-up, doing away with puffiness.
With regular use, the simple beauty tools can help improve skin health.
Obsidian Roller
Always start with clean skin; if you are going to exfoliate do so beforehand.
Apply Golden Oil® to the face. Avoid pulling on skin. Roll gently with light to moderate pressure.
Every morning, use the jade roller cold to literally “wake” the face up.
At night, use the roller to aid in product penetration. Heat the stone by running it under warm water, dry off and use it to thoroughly roll in Golden Oil®.
Roll from the bottom of the ear onto the neck toward the centre of the jawbone to promote lymphatic drainage.
Continue by starting at the centre of your face (forehead, inner eye, side of nose or centre of chin) and work the roller out toward the hairline, ears and alongside the jaw.
The roller needs to be used consistently to reap the benefits.
Gua Sha
Always start with clean skin; if you are going to exfoliate do so beforehand.
Apply Golden Oil® to the face. Keep the tool flat against the face and begin with the forehead. Scraping in an upwards motion from the eyebrows to the hairline.
Move to the cheeks and scrape in an outwards motion starting from the crease of the nose until the ear.
Move to the jawline and use the end of the gua sha tool with the two curves.
Start from the chin and scrape until the ear.
For the under-eye area, very gently scrape the gua sha from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple. The under-eye area is sensitive thus only apply light pressure.
Aim to use the gua sha at least two to three times per week.
