Meet the Founder 

The seeds for Golden Oil® were planted when the founder Shakila was searching for natural and effective anti-aging skincare products that were gentle on the skin and provided the user with a simpler skincare routine and a minimalist approach. To her surprise and frustration, this appeared to be an area the beauty industry had been neglecting, skincare routines were complicated with the vast majority of skincare products containing chemicals and ingredients that were considered harsh on the skin and not safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. 

It was at this point she came across the two key Bio Retinol ingredients; Bakuchiol and Bidens Pilosa and their incredible properties that delivered the same anti-aging effects as retinol, but without any of the side effects. 

This launched the journey of searching out the best natural and effective skincare ingredients from around the globe. Simplicity that provides manageable and sustainable skincare routines to fit with our fast paced lives is at the heart of all our skincare products.
